Julian Bez

Senior Software Engineer

I design and build backend systems with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and clear architecture. Most of my work sits at the intersection of product engineering and infrastructure, translating messy, high-traffic realities into systems that stay fast and predictable.

My technical background centers on Python, Django, and PostgreSQL, complemented by TypeScript/React on the frontend and Celery for async workloads. I care deeply about test coverage, operational visibility, and pragmatic decision-making, the kind that keeps production stable and engineers unblocked.

I've led projects ranging from data-heavy analytics platforms to workflow automation and internal developer tooling. A recurring theme is simplifying complexity: replacing fragile processes with clear boundaries, improving developer feedback loops, and designing APIs that don't surprise their users.

Lately, my focus is on architecture design and engineering workflow optimization, building systems and practices that help teams move quickly without accumulating chaos.
